DataON At Microsoft Ignite 2019: A Preview

DataON will be in booth 1645 in the Partner Solution Zone, near the Microsoft Landmark and the Microsoft Showcase. Here’s a preview of what we’ll be showcasing at the booth.

DataON solutions for Azure Stack HCI

Azure Stack HCI is an evolution of data center computing that blends Windows Server technologies with Azure management service integration. It features the same Hyper-V based software-defined compute, storage, and networking as Azure Stack and shares similar testing and validation criteria. DataON was one of the first Microsoft partners to offer validated Windows Server Software-Defined (WSSD) solutions and has the most validated solutions in the Azure Stack HCI catalog.

Storage Review gave an Azure Stack HCI and DataON solution it’s Editor’s Choice Award last month, saying “Azure Stack HCI combined with Intel® Optane™, Intel® NVMe SSDs and Mellanox 100GbE networking… a force to be reckoned with.”

In addition, Storage Review said, “the DataON cluster we’ve been testing has posted tremendous numbers, the fastest we’ve seen in a mid-market 4-node HCI cluster. To be fair, we’re not even testing the latest and greatest hardware from DataON either.”

New data center plus configurations for Intel Select Solutions for Azure Stack HCI

Intel Select Solutions are performance-optimized specifically for hyper-converged compute and storage, leveraging 2nd generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors, Intel® Optane™ SSDs, and Intel® Optane™ persistent memory. DataON will be the first and only Intel® Platinum Partner to offer all four validated configurations of Intel® Select Solutions for Azure Stack HCI.

DataON MUST 3.0 for Windows Admin Center

DataON was the first to offer a visibility, monitoring, and management tool for Windows Server environments and one of the first to offer a native extension for Windows Admin Center. We will be showcasing our second generation MUST extension for Windows Admin Center which provides real-time monitoring with alerts that free system administrator from having to continually monitor their data center.
